There are two groups of Americans that enjoy traveling the country in their RVs – retired folks with lots of time on their hands and young families with children who are bursting with energy and excitement. It does not matter which category you fit into … you are going to want to have fun when you “hit the road” in your RV. And, if you do things the right way, fun is a guarantee.
Pre-Book Festivals, Professional Sporting Events, Theaters – Everything You Plan To Do and See Well In Advance of the Start of Your Trip or Vacation.
It seems obvious, I know, but you would be surprised at how many RV owners or renters plan a two week, three week trip, or longer, include lots of “fun” events in their itineraries (events that require the purchase of tickets) …and then forget to buy the tickets. The result is often a ruined or nearly-ruined RV trip or vacation because when you reach the destination where the event is scheduled to occur – it is sold out … no tickets available. Do not let that happen to you.
Pack everything – That Means EVERYTHING – you need to fully enjoy your RV Trip or Vacation.
If you are traveling without kids, you may not have to take along that much to assure that fun is an integral part of your trip – perhaps swimsuits … fishing equipment … possibly scuba gear … hiking boots – you get the idea. But, what if you have teenagers on board? You are going to need lots of sports equipment, in addition to swimming gear, simply because they will need it to “burn off energy” and “stay out of your hair.”
Make a List … Check it twice – Follow Through carefully and Leave nothing out.
That is the key to turning your RV trip or vacation into the fun-filled event you want it to be – without hassles and depressing disappointments. There is an easy way to make sure that you have fun on your RV trip or vacation. Once you have planned your trip, write down everything you need to do to assure a fun time. It may include the purchase of tickets or, as noted earlier, the gear and equipment you need to bring with you. Then … follow through – buy the tickets and pack the gear … long before you leave. You will have fun … lots and lots of it.
